In Season 6, Antonio fell into a drug habit and he relapsed in the final episode. He resigned off-screen, was taken to rehab, and later decided to move to Puerto Rico to seek further help. It has been mentioned by Gabriela Dawson that Dawson is in the crisis response team in the Bahamas in Best Friend Magic.
