If you are silver who is ending game on a 5th 3ed place all the time, then yeah 1000h is a lot. If you are GE 1000h is CS and GE is a nice goal and 1000h is not too much for you, you should and you will spend more. While pro players can have over 5000 and it may be counted as not much.
